![]() A breeding pair of Spiders in each of the medium pens (Zygomites are better experience, but at the time mushrooms were quite expensive), fed with seeds from Miscellenia.A breeding pair of Chinchompas in the other small pen, fed with Woad leaves. One small pen with elder rabbits, and the totem perk for +5% breeding chance.Personally, my setup for 120 Farming was this: It's a longer process, but it's significantly cheaper. If you get your farm set up properly, you can spend maybe five minutes a day there and get ludicrously high rates of experience for the effort you put in. The beauty of POF is that it's extremely low-engagement training for potentially massive experience gains. However, my personal opinion is that this is a colossal waste of money. If you want the fastest, your best bet is to, essentially, skip POF entirely: buy Adolescent animals directly from players (you can't buy them off the Grand Exchange but can trade them, and there's a thriving market on World 2 and on the POF Discord), sell them for beans to buy the growth potions for whatever the most xp/hour plant is at your current level, and then burn through them on a DXP. ![]() It's faster, because you don't have the semi-random element of breeding to worry about, but it's more cost-effective to just have a breeding pair of animals (which you don't, ever, sell) churning out babies that you grow to your desired level and then sell to make room for more babies The only other thing I would say is that your approach of mass-buying animals on the GE isn't a very efficient use of resources. Animals without food will have their Health and Happiness tick down, which will net you less experience when you check them for produce. You don't need to do anything as they grow except ensure they have food in their troughs. For example, chinchompas#Animal_stats) take 8.4 hours to grow from child to adolescent, and another 33.6 hours to grow to elder. How long it takes is pretty well-understood, and the wiki lists timings for how long animals take to move between growth phases. There's not a "right" answer, it's all in what you want to get out of your farm. Elder animals sell for fewer beans, but you get more direct experience from them, as well as more produce (which is often a secondary ingredient in mid-to-high-level potions for Herblore training). Adolescent animals sell for more beans (the internal currency of Player-Owned Farm), which can be used to buy growth potions which in turn make other Farming activities easier. When you sell depends on what your goal is. You can read the full text of the rules here. General discussion on Treasure Hunter and other MTX is allowed.
